Lamisil is used to treat athlete’s foot (tinea pedis). It is a fungal infection, causing tinea missosey or tinea cruris. One tablet a day can kill the fungus, and the infection is treatable with medicines such as Terbinafine or Asaclonatenson. Lamisil may be used in children aged 12 and over, or in adults, as appropriate.
Adults and children from 12 years: take 1 tablet every 4 to 6 hours, as needed. The tablets should be swallowed whole. Do not crush, chew or break an tablet. The tablets will not be broken in your mouth. The fungus will continue to multiply in your body until the tablet is finished. It may take up to 10 days for the fungus to heal. Lamisil is usually taken for up to 4 weeks after your foot has healed. The foot may not grow as fully as it did on your own.
