If you’re a candidate for oral Lamisil tablets, the first step is to consult with your healthcare provider to ensure you’re using the best treatment option for your condition. When you’re prescribed Lamisil tablets, your doctor will closely monitor your response to the treatment to ensure that you’re getting the most benefit from the medication.
Here’s how you can start:
If your symptoms do not improve or get worse, contact your healthcare provider immediately.
Your doctor will determine if oral Lamisil tablets are the best option for you based on your medical history, response to treatment, and individual needs. They may also monitor your blood pressure, cholesterol levels, and other medications you take. If you are currently taking a nitrate drug for chest pain or heart problems, your doctor may lower your dose of oral Lamisil tablets to treat your condition.
Do not take Lamisil tablets if:
It’s important to tell your doctor about any medical conditions you have, such as kidney or liver disease, heart disease, or a history of seizures. They may adjust your dosage or suggest an alternate treatment.
Most people tolerate Lamisil tablets well, but you may experience:
More rarely, some people may develop skin rash or itching, which may be a sign of a more serious condition.
Rarely, you may develop a severe allergic reaction, which can be a sign of a more serious condition. Contact your healthcare provider right away if you have signs of a serious allergic reaction such as difficulty breathing, swelling of the face, lips, tongue, or throat. This usually means you’re allergic to Lamisil tablets or any other ingredient in them.
Take Lamisil tablets orally as directed by your healthcare provider. You can take Lamisil tablets with or without food.
If you miss a dose, take it as soon as possible. If it's almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and resume your usual dosing schedule.
If you stop taking Lamisil tablets and develop severe allergic reaction to an ingredient in your medication, call your healthcare provider immediately.
Alcohol can worsen side effects of Lamisil tablets and can reduce your effectiveness. It’s best to avoid alcohol while taking Lamisil tablets to avoid potential drug interactions.
Follow your healthcare provider’s instructions regarding how long to take Lamisil tablets. If you take Lamisil tablets once a day, your dose will depend on how long you take the medication.

Lamisil AT 1% Cream is a treatment for fungal infection called as tinea pedis. This condition occurs when tPBDE (cicle-associated pruritis) cells in the body turn on, leading to pain and itching.
After treatment, the body does not produce enough cGMP enzyme. This causes the nerves to be re-tortive, causing the skin to itch. This type of itch is known as ringworm and causes itching and tinging of the skin and nails.
After using Lamisil AT 1% Cream, patients should be instructed to wash their hands and avoid touching the infected skin. This treatment does not kill the infection, it is still there. It will not cure the infection.
After treatment, the skin will heal and disappear faster.
